Based in Washington, DC, we connect families throughout the District, Maryland, and Northern Virginia with experienced doulas, newborn care specialists, and maternal professionals who walk alongside mothers with steadiness, care, and genuine presence through pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum months.

Maison de la Mère was founded by Chelsea Delaney, who spent years working closely with families through her Washington-based childcare agency and witnessed, time and again, how mothers were expected to navigate this passage without consistent, trusted support.

She founded this agency because she believed mothers deserved more — a place where they could feel not just supported, but genuinely cared for, as they step into this new and beautiful chapter of their lives.
